Whew! Let Me Catch My Breath

For as long as I can remember I have moved quickly on any ideas I'd have whether it was buying a new car, having Lasik surgery, getting a new pet and so on and so on. This week has been no different. I decided to take my Personal Assistant business in a different direction and I haven't stopped moving since Monday when I made the decision.

I found over the past few months that what I enjoyed the most out of everything I had done was taking care of animals. As that part of my business started to grow, the happier and more fulfilled I felt. I discovered that I am really freaking good with animals, I seem to connect with most of them very quickly. Really, I wish I had started this years ago but that's okay, I'm going to enjoy the time I have now!

So, I made a lot of changes in the past few days in between taking care of some really amazing animals and doing my grocery shopping side gig. I had a new logo designed, designed new business cards, created a Facebook and Instagram account for my business (thank you to my daughter, Brooke, for her help with IG), edited my website 4987 times, purchased liability insurance, got bonded, am finishing my pet First Aid and CPR class online, and created promoted posts on social media. I've accomplished a lot in 4 days, right?

I've never blogged before and to be honest, I don't really like writing anymore. I used to love writing when I was younger but now, eh, not so much. I'm thinking I'll probably update my blog with pics from my day caring for the critters with the occasional funny anecdote. Maybe if I rediscover my love of writing, I'll create more content. For now, I'm going to go with KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid).

That's our dog, Daisy, below. My daughter rescued her a little over a year ago from Homeward Bound Rescue in Harrisburg, PA. Doesn't she have the cutest ears????
